It was just under a year ago that Refuge 31 began a long production journey that took us from the North End of Winnipeg all the way to New York and then Prince Edward Island to Hollywood. Not to mention everywhere in between. It’s been a honour and deeply moving experience for Director Andrew Wall and the Refuge 31 crew following Steve Bell through his concerts and his studio shooting Burning Ember: The Steve Bell Journey.
Refuge 31 would like to thank the gang at Signpost Music: Steve Bell, Dave Zeglinski, Faye Hall and Amy Knight for all their patience and help in building this documentary. It’s been a lot of fun digging through the past while also recording the present of one of the worlds finest musicians. As we wind down in post production, tidying edits and tuning audio, we’re excited that it won’t be long till we can share this with Steve’s fans and the world.
The feature documentary is slated for release in September. We’ll keep you up to date as for screenings and broadcast dates.
