Laurels and a trophy. It’s great to be recognized.
We’ve just begun to send out Burning Ember: The Steve Bell Journey to the festival circuit and already its garnering attention and recognition. In January it will be screening on the west-coast at Mission Fest Vancouver Film Festival then in February the Real to Reel Winnipeg Film Festival. Those are both very fine festivals doing good work and we’re delighted to be part of them. Director Andrew Wall will be heading out to both.
Also, in our email box this week came another couple of nice surprises. The Indiefest Film Awards Competition garnered Burning Ember with a trophy of Honourable mention in not just the Christian category, but Feature Documentary as well. That’s a big global competition and it’s an honour to be given this recognition.
So stay tuned as this little film from Winnipeg keeps building steam.
