If you’re out in the Edmonton area on May 13th then head over to the Metro Cinema (Garneau Theatre) and watch Burning Ember: The Steve Bell Journey on the big screen at Global Visions 2015.

There will be a special appearance by Steve Bell himself for a Q&A after the film about what it was like to have a documentary made about himself and what’s happened since it’s release. Director Andrew Wall of Refuge 31 Films might even be joining him depending on his schedule. (It’s that busy.) There’s some other great films going on over the 8 day event,  so it’s worth coming out!

More info: Global Visions is Western Canada’s Premiere documentary festival as well as Canada’s longest running documentary film festival. The festival began in 1983 as the Edmonton Learners Centre’s ‘Third World Film Festival’. The centre became the non-profit Global Visions Festival Society in 1998, with the newly re-named Global Visions Film Festival.
