Refuge 31 has been very busy this summer with numerous projects underway, including The Fantasy Makers: Tolkien, Lewis and MacDonald as part of their Faith in Imagination series. The documentary feature examines the connections between the three great fantasy makers.
Portions of the film will be reenactments (as seen in photo). Refuge 31 was honoured to work with actor Stephen Eric Mcintyre on location at Dalnavert House in Winnipeg. Stephen, no stranger to Canadian television screens and beyond, played the nineteenth century fantasy writer George MacDonald.
No doubt you know who JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis are but if you don’t know who George MacDonald is then wait for early 2018…
